What the certificate and the seal show

A certificate page, a SHA-256 seal and an RFC 3161 timestamp on every completed envelope.

  1. 1

When the last person signs, MyESign stamps the signatures into the PDF and attaches a Certificate of completion page.

  2. 2

The certificate lists the envelope, the document's SHA-256 fingerprint, the pages, the completion time (UTC) and the seal — a SHA-256 over the envelope, the document fingerprint and every signature.

  3. 3

For each signer it shows the name, email or phone, when they opened and signed, the method (typed, drawn or voice) and the IP address — plus the identity result and the call transcript excerpt when they apply.

  4. 4

The seal gets a trusted RFC 3161 timestamp from freetsa.org when the authority answers; if not, the certificate says "not available at sealing time".

  5. 5

The sealed PDF is saved to your team's DOCZ and every party can download it.

Tip: The certificate is evidence, not a guarantee: whether a document is accepted is decided by the court or authority that receives it — see Terms §9.
