Create an API key and your first envelope

A team key, one POST with the PDF and your customer's data, and a signing link per signer.

  1. 1

An owner or a manager opens Developers, names a key (for example "Website") and taps Create key. Copy it now — it starts with es_live_ and is shown only once.

  2. 2

Send POST https://api.socialdna.app/api/esign/v1/envelopes with Authorization: Bearer es_live_… (or X-Api-Key) and a JSON body: title, document (base64 or an https url), signers (name, email, phone, channel: email, whatsapp, sms, call or link, and prefill values), and optionally fields, message, order, expires_days and ext_ref.

  3. 3

The answer has the envelope and a signing_url for each signer. Use deliver: false to get the links without sending anything, or send: false to keep a draft.

  4. 4

Read envelopes with GET /v1/envelopes and GET /v1/envelopes/{id}, download the PDF with GET /v1/envelopes/{id}/document, send a draft with POST /v1/envelopes/{id}/send, void with POST /v1/envelopes/{id}/void, and check usage with GET /v1/account.

Tip: Keep keys on your server, never in a web page. Revoke a key in Developers and apps using it stop working right away.
